BRIEF - Our depiction of ourselfs through animated characters allows us to connect with moods, emotions, and expressions that we might hide in our daily lives.
Our quirkiness is not always appreciated nor celebrated, and to some people this mirror hurts. It doesn't have to be an extrovert thing, because the fact is that we can be introverts wanting to connect
and still be afraid to show our expressions, and to accept the amplitude, which could go subtle and unnoticed. That's why I created this alternative mirror,
here in the series, the self that is looking back.
MEDIUM - Acrylics on a raw canvas, treated with transperant gesso, which is visible in some artworks.
